CONDITIONS OF SALE
- All interested bidders are requested to view and verify the details by themselves, as the auctioneer or ICRC does not warrant these as the units are being offered for sale “AS THEY ARE”. 2. All intending bidders are requested to deposit a refundable deposit of Kshs250,000 to obtain a bidding (buying) number from the auctioneers, payable on the auction day, shortly before commencing the auction. Please note that there will be no bidding whatsoever without a bidding number. 3. Please note that each Kshs250,000 bidding deposit will be limited to purchasing a maximum of 2 (two) lots only. Any bidder intending to purchase more lots must pay the requisite amount of bidding deposits before the auction commences. 4. The highest bidder must pay a deposit of 25% in cash or banker’s cheque for each purchased lot to the auctioneer at the fall of the hammer. The 75% balance, has to be paid in bankers cheque, cash & RTGS to the Auctioneer’s Account within 24 hours failure to which all deposits paid will be forfeited. 5. The units will be offered for sale on duty inclusive basis. The cost of transfer, re-registration and any other related costs will be at the buyer’s expense. The ICRC will provide all necessary documents to the buyer to enable him to launch the transfer and Re-registration process. The buyer before launching the transfer and re-registration process is required to sign the sale contract. When done, the receipt will be handed over to ICRC by the buyer, to confirm transfer of ownership, ONLY then will ICRC release the vehicle to the new owner. The buyer is given 10 working days from the auction day, to complete the process of transfer of ownership, after which the ICRC reserves the right to charge storage at the rate of Kshs1,000 per day. 6. Before items can be removed from the principal’s compound, the buyer MUST produce confirmation letter of full payment, or confirmation of new ownership (for motor vehicles only), Sale agreement duly signed by the Auctioneer and the buyer, ICRC to sign sale agreement upon receipt of amended documents. All items meeting above conditions must be removed within 10 working days from ICRC’s compound. If the buyer causes delays, he shall be liable to pay storage charges of Kshs1,000 per day. 7. The sale is subject to reserve prices. 8. Viewing will be from 04.04.2016 to 15.04.2016, between 10.00 am and 4.00pm (excluding Saturday and Sunday). Viewing by catalogue only. 9. Detailed catalogues are available at a cost of Kshs200 each at the Auctioneer’s offices. Entry to the auction sale by catalogue only.
