DISMANTLING & DISPOSAL OF PLANT EQUIPMENT- INVITATION TO BID

BOC Kenya Limited wishes to request for bids from interested parties to dismantle and cart away obsolete and redundant plant equipment at our

Company premises in Nairobi and Mombasa.

Our Nairobi offices are in Industrial Area on Kitui Road, off Kampala Road, off Enterprise Road while the Mombasa office is in Industrial Area, Mikanjoni Road, Off Liwatoni Road. The successful Contractor retained will be responsible for safe dismantling of the plant equipment and subsequent disposal.

Conditions for bidding

Interested bidders will be required to:

  • Pay a non-refundable fee of Kes.5, 000 before assessment of the plant equipment. The receipt should be attached to the bids.
  • Carry out an assessment prior to submitting bids.
  • Indicate the duration for carrying out the exercise.
  • Give a safety method statement of how they will carry out the exercise as well as indication of where similar exercise has been successfully executed.

Assessment of the plant equipment to be dismantled and disposed will be carried out between 10.00a.m and 11.00 a.m. from 27th June 2016 to 1st July 2016.

Bids should be enclosed in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked “Quotation for dismantling of plant equipment” and addressed to The Supply Chain Manager, BOC Kenya Limited, P.O. Box 18010, 00500, Nairobi Industrial Area or deposited in the bid box at the reception at both our Nairobi and Mombasa offices. Bids close at 4.00 p.m. Friday 8th July 2016.

Bidders can bid separately for the two locations, or jointly for both Mombasa and Nairobi. Preference will be given to bidders who bid for both and who meet the above conditions. Bids received after the closing date and time will not be considered.
